2025 Untitled Show - APA San Diego
Untitled is an annual competition and exhibition celebrating the strongest work by members of the American Photographic Artists (APA) and the broader photographic community. The exhibition highlights images—titled or untitled—that reflect each artist’s unique vision, creative passion, and individual style. Open to photographers at all levels, the competition features no prescribed categories, reinforcing APA’s mission to advocate for, educate, and elevate the professional photographic community.
All submissions were juried by Shana Lopes, PhD, Assistant Curator of Photography at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), and Alyssa Ortega Coppelman, an independent photo and photobook editor, writer, picture researcher, and consultant.
Photography students Arier Randolph and Allie Principato, along with alumni Jaydon Miller, Eileen Solorzano, Jonathan Otero, David Fouts, and Ashley Chruszcz, were selected among 26 photographers chosen from more than 550 professional entries. Their photographs were exhibited during a one-night showcase at WOO Studios in San Diego on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
Jaydon Miller was awarded First Place for the evening and exhibition. California Baptist University continues to lead and contribute meaningfully to the photographic community.
Entry fees from Untitled support year-round programming and events for APA San Diego, with 10% of all fees donated to Outside the Lens in support of its mission and educational initiatives.
