Josiah Grant’s 'Duality Unveiled' visually narrates the dichotomy of life’s hardships from two perspectives. The utilization of certain symbols represents desperation, loneliness, and defeat. Others lead them to a more hopeful, freeing story. Yet, they are intertwined all the same. This series contemplates the interplay of vulnerability and strength, freedom and constraint, allowing the narrative to unfold naturally within the imagery, ultimately opening the door for interpretation and reliability.
Grant not only wants the images to speak to the viewer but wants the viewer to speak their own story through the images.”
