In “The Secret Place,” William Landers aims to document the places where people go to feel connected to God and illustrate how each is equally as impactful as the next. Everyone has a place where they feel most connected to God. For some, it’s the act of going out into the wilderness and spending hours hiking through backwoods trails. For others, it is as simple as curling up in a corner of their room with a Bible and having an honest conversation with Him. There is no “right” way to talk to God. Each person has their own way of talking to God, their own place where they pray, and each is as special as the last.
