Nico Carrillo
Found Adrift is a series by photographer Nico Carrillo exploring the journey to rediscover lost joy. Through these photographs, Carrillo re-explores the world with a child-like perspective. Carrillo seeks to challenge the pervasiveness of adult anxiety around daily routines, problems, and too much knowledge that gets in the way of experiencing the wonder and losing sight of the beauty still to be found in this world. This project was formed from a small hobby of adventure paired with a strong sense of curiosity that has since ignited and grown into a strong passion for continuing to invite others back into joy. Found Adrift demonstrates what we are searching for, a lost passion and what seems to be the start of something greater.
