Cassidy Stroh
A photographic series about faith, family, and heritage. Cassidy Stroh has been photographing environmental portraits of families and retired veterans within their own homes or work to get a clearer look into their lives. This project has been very symbolic of her own family’s heritage of having grandparents in the armed forces as well as how time with our grandparents is limited. She wants her audience to feel the love a grandparent has for their grandchild and how sharing their heritage with them is what brings them joy but also ensures that their legacy will live on through the future generations. Along with this, she has been capturing how being a Christian has impacted people in the armed forces back when they were serving as well as today showing how it shaped them or helped them through hard times.
