Hannah S. Wright
Hannah S. Wright is a photographer and graphic designer, and her passion is connecting with people through food and language. An enthusiastic learner, she studies languages in her spare time and applies her curiosity about the world to her food photography work. She wants to encourage people to deepen their relationship with the food they eat and use it to connect with others. Never going into a project uninformed, she researches the dishes she makes to introduce them to others and inspire them to try out the recipes themselves.
“Before I was ever into photography and design, I was cooking and baking. Combining these interests was a match made in heaven. With the A Seat At My Table series, I wanted to tell my story using food. I learned a lot in and out of the kitchen when making it, and even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, I was able to connect with family and friends over these dishes. I hope that this series inspires the viewers to do the same!”.
